Terms of Personal Data Use
The User gives consent to the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Consent”) freely, of their own will, and in their own interest.
The Consent may be provided by the User or their representative in any form that allows confirmation of the fact of its receipt, unless otherwise provided by law.
In particular, but not limited to this, the Consent may be provided by explicit confirmation of the Consent on the Operator’s website when the User accepts public offer agreements, user agreements, fills in registration forms, subscription forms, and the like.
The Operator does not collect or process special categories of personal data, the processing of which, in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, requires the User’s written consent.
By providing the Consent, the User thereby agrees to:
• the processing of their personal data by the Operator for the purposes in accordance with the section “Purposes of Personal Data Processing” of this Policy;
• the assignment by the Operator of the processing of personal data to third parties and their transfer in accordance with the section “Confidentiality and Security” of this Policy.
The User has the right to withdraw their Consent at any time by sending the Operator a corresponding notice in accordance with the section “User Management of Personal Data” of this Policy.
Types and Sources of Personal Data
By giving this Consent, the User authorizes the Operator to process the following personal data:
• last name, first name, patronymic (including separately);
• email address;
• contact phone number;
• date of birth;
• country, city, address (including separately);
• job title (occupation), organization name;
• photograph;
• link to a personal website; accounts on social networks and messaging applications.
The Operator does not have access to and does not process Users’ payment data (for example, information about payment cards, electronic wallets, etc.) provided by them to third-party payment systems to which the User is redirected to pay for the Operator’s services. The procedure for handling such personal data is determined by the rules of the relevant payment systems, and not by this Policy.
Users’ personal data may be obtained by the Operator:
• in the course of providing services and using the Operator’s websites (for example, when Users fill in registration forms on the website, subscribe to news or free materials, enter into an agreement, and make purchases, etc.);
• when Users contact the Operator with a request by phone, email, or through customer support; from publicly available sources (for example, open profiles on social networks, etc.).
Purposes of Personal Data Processing
Personal data processing means recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data that do not fall under special categories, the processing of which, in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, requires the User’s written consent.
Personal data processing is carried out by the Operator for the purposes of:
• selling goods and providing services in accordance with agreements and contracts with Users, including invoicing, order delivery, and other similar operations;
• receiving and processing User feedback, including conducting surveys, polls, and other similar activities;
• sending informational and promotional materials of the Operator to the email addresses of Users provided by them for these purposes;
• promoting goods and services through direct contact with the User using communication means;
• analyzing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;
• researching and analyzing user preferences, developing and testing products;
• as well as for purposes directly prescribed by the current legislation of Ukraine.
Confidentiality and Security
Users’ personal data are processed by the Operator using databases located on the territory of Ukraine.
Data may also be transferred by the Operator to servers located in other countries where the Operator’s service providers are based and which ensure adequate legislative protection of Users’ rights regarding the processing and transfer of personal data. For example, when using popular and reliable mailing services that ensure compliance with anti-spam legislation, etc.
The Operator has the right to entrust the processing of Users’ personal data to third parties. For example, providers that supply the Operator with hosting services, order fulfillment, delivery of electronic mailings, and the like. For each such party, a list of actions with personal data, processing purposes, and the obligation to maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of personal data are established.
Personal data may also be provided to third parties in cases and in the manner directly prescribed by applicable law (for example, at the request of government authorities, etc.).
The Operator and other persons who have gained access to Users’ personal data are obliged not to disclose such data to third parties and not to distribute personal data without the Users’ consent, unless otherwise provided by law.
The Operator takes the necessary legal, organizational, and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, provision, distribution of personal data, as well as from other unlawful actions with respect to personal data.
The User must also take certain reasonable measures to protect their data, as well as the systems, networks, and services they use. If the User has reason to believe that the processing of their personal data by the Operator is no longer secure, they may notify the Operator in accordance with the section “User Management of Personal Data” of this Policy.
Personal Data Processing Period
The Operator processes Users’ personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in the section “Purposes of Personal Data Processing” of this Policy.
The Operator destroys or anonymizes personal data upon achieving the purposes of processing or in the event that the need to achieve them is lost.
Regardless of the purposes of processing, the User has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. In this case, the User agrees that the Operator retains the right to process the User’s personal data when this is required by the legislation of Ukraine.
User Management of Personal Data
The User has the right to:
• receive information from the Operator regarding the processing of their personal data, unless such a right is restricted in accordance with applicable law;
• require the Operator to clarify, block, or destroy their personal data if such data are incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unlawfully obtained, or not necessary for the stated purpose of processing;
• take measures provided by law to protect their rights.
The User has the right to withdraw their Consent to the processing of personal data in whole or in part at any time by sending a corresponding request to the Operator. Such a request must be sent to the Operator’s email address: support@urbanbase.com.ua. The email must specify the User’s last name, first name, patronymic, email address for feedback, and the content of the request.
Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of electronic distribution of informational and promotional materials may also be carried out by the User by canceling the subscription via the “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of the relevant mailings.
Other Data
The Operator also uses cookies and other similar technologies on the basis of which information is collected to help evaluate the effectiveness of the Operator’s services and websites and improve them. Detailed information on the use of cookies and their management is contained in the Cookie Notice.
Publication and Policy Updates
This Policy is publicly available and is published by:
• placing links to the Policy on the Operator’s websites, including links to the Policy in contracts, agreements, and other documents with Users when necessary and appropriate. At its discretion, the Operator may periodically update this Policy.
• changes to the Policy take effect from the moment the new version is published on the website. The fact that the User continues to use our services after the relevant changes are made signifies their consent to and acceptance of the new version of the Policy.
The date of the last update and previous versions are indicated at the beginning of this Policy.
The Operator recommends that Users periodically review this Policy to familiarize themselves with its current version.
